Data Protection

Privacy Policy

Understand how Lotus Global Exim collects, stores, protects, and uses client business records and trade information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect company profiles, corporate emails, telephone coordinates, billing records, tax IDs, and trade compliance details (such as custom codes) during RFQs, inquiry submissions, and trade contracting.

2. How We Use Information

All business information is used solely to evaluate consignments, calculate logistics tariffs, complete phytosanitary documentations at ports, manage customs declarations, and coordinate shipping tracking alerts.

3. Trade Secrets & Confidentiality

We maintain absolute confidentiality concerning proprietary formulas, custom spice grinds, and buyer-grower pricing metrics. Client trade parameters are never shared with external competitors or unverified intermediaries.

4. Sharing with Port & Customs Authorities

Required trade documents (Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary certificates) will be transmitted securely to port authorities, customs agencies, and ocean freight logistics partners to ensure compliant wharves clearing.

5. Data Retention & Erasure

We store business transaction logs for a period compliant with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) auditing mandates. Upon request, non-transactional details can be permanently erased from our marketing servers.

6. Security Infrastructure

We utilize secure servers and industry-standard encryption protocols to protect trade records and billing credentials. However, no database is 100% immune from security anomalies, and we advise caution during communication exchanges.
